FAQs

     1.      Question:    Why is my audio or video paused?

                            

              Answer:   Audio and video need focus to proceed. Click inside the window of the Gazetteer application to resume playing.

      2.     Question:  Why did the background fail to repaint?

              Answer:  The background refreshes when it needs to change.

                             If your computer was not fast enough to refresh when it should have, it unfortunately missed its chance to repaint.

                             To present another chance to repaint the screen, force a background change by rolling the scroll wheel (to zoom

                             in and/or out).

 

               Question:  I clicked on the a location on the location menu and it went somewhere else.

 

               Answer:  Single click on a location on the location menu. Double clicking clicks the location you targeted, and the screen changes

                              before your second click, so the second click targets an unintended location.

TIPS

     1.      When watching  the (instructional) YOUTUBE video, hit Youtube's video pause button at points of interest.
